success
2nd and York Streets
August 26, 2009

need broomcleaning upThe North Camden Greening Committee put together a neighborhood clean-up and Back to School Bash at a proposed park site on 2nd street and York Street on Wednesday, August 26. The event was a huge success. More than 100 children, family and friends of the North Camden community came together to support the clean-up, to learn more about the proposed plans for the park and also  enjoy free pizza.

The Back to School Bash kicked off with a one hour clean-up of the park site. Racks, shovels, trash bags and gloves were made available. All those who participated in the clean-up were also given raffle tickets and had the chance to win one of many back to school prizes.
