WRI
Student Staff
The Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public
Affairs employs undergraduate and graduate students
as research assistants to assist on projects
and use classroom learning in an applied research
setting.

Linda Murray received
her undergraduate degree in English from Rutgers
University – New Brunswick in 1977. Linda’s
work experience consists of city government
and human resources. She is currently enrolled
in the Masters of Public Administration program
in the Public Management track (estimated graduation
in May 2010). Linda is a resident of Willingboro,
New Jersey. At WRI, Linda is working
on a Capacity Building Initiative.

Tom Beaver,
graduate assistant at WRI, received his undergraduate
degree in Political Science from Rutgers-Camden
and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public
Administration program in the Public Management
track (estimated graduation in May 2008). Tom resides
in Ocean City, New Jersey, and works on the Regional
Planning and Project Safe Neighborhoods projects
at WRI.

Kristin Curtis received
her undergraduate degree from Rutgers-Camden in
Criminal Justice and Sociology and is currently
enrolled in the Masters of Criminal Justice program
(estimated graduation in May 2009). Kristin
lives in Bellmawr, New Jersey, and works on the
Camden Safer Cities Initiative and Operation CeaseFire
at WRI.

Anneliese Khalil,
a native of Medford Lakes, New Jersey, is enrolled
in the Masters of Public Administration program
in the Public Management track (estimated graduation
in December 2008). Anneliese, the most recently
hired student intern at WRI, has been working on
internship program development for the International
Public Service and Development track of the Public
Administration master’s degree program.

Kaitlyn Muller lives
in Philadelphia, where she received her undergraduate
degree in Spanish and Leadership and Global Understanding
from La Salle University. Kaitlyn is enrolled in
the Masters of Public Administration program in
the Public Management track (estimated graduation
in May 2009) and works on the Project Safe Neighborhoods
and other public safety projects at WRI.
